Acts 21:13-14 “Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14And since he would not be persuaded, we ceased and said, “Let the will of the Lord be done.” Don’t we all want to be like Paul and have the conviction to die for the Lord Jesus! All that Jesus has, is, and will do for us, it seems like an easy desire! But if we are honest, we are afraid of pain, rejection, lose and ending our life. That is why we need to fear leaving God more than fear of losing our life. Jesus said don’t fear those who can only kill the body but fear him who can send your soul to hell. And that person is Jesus so instead of fearing mankind we need to run to Jesus in his word and trust him and believe his words of comfort and hope. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Paul learned that by the Holy Spirit and so can we. That you Jesus for your love. In your name I pray. Amen
